Supervise and support operation of Bright School, TR’s flagship pre-primary and primary demonstration school, with management oversight and coaching to meet TR standards, implement world-class education practices, regularly mentor teachers, encourage families to use developmentally appropriate parenting/caregiver practices and be engaged with their children’s school(s), support communication through General Assembly meetings, family conferences about children’s progress, and social media.
At Bright School, learning is integrated through play and projects. These Rwandan traditional dancers perform at General Assemblies, graduations, and other community events. The dance club is coached by their teachers and often accompanied by student drummers.

Continuously update and provide on-going consulting services in Partner schools to build teacher and leadership capacity

Offer guided, reflective TR Exemplary School teacher and leader observation visits in preparation for TR workshops (Module 1)

Plan and lead a series of intensive, interactive four, full-day, introductory educational workshops for school staff (Module 2)

Conduct face-to-face, personalized teacher mentoring and school leader coaching and goal-setting, following Module 2 workshops over the period of a 2-year MOU (Module 3)

Develop and deliver additional support services as requested by these schools
Expert TR teacher mentors like Elysee encourage Ernestine and hundreds of other Rwandan teachers
in their classrooms, and work with partner schools to set their own goals for continuous improvement.
Offer bespoke consultant coaching and advocacy for public and private school leaders, teachers, government officials, policy makers, and development partners.

Hundreds of distinguished visitors to Bright School each year observe
joyful learners working together on creative projects, using analytical thinking and other executive function skills. Seeing is believing!
Plan and deliver professional consultant services such as writing/speaking/and standards reviews in program development, curriculum implementation, child development, early childhood/primary education, learning environments, robotics, and related topics.

TR’s experienced, passionate consultants build the capacity of Rwandan educators by promoting implementation of meaningful,
culturally relevant, hands-on learning
experiences for all ages, even adults.
Develop and implement workshops and provide management/ICT education consultation with STELA (Science, Technology, Entrepreneurship Leadership Academy) staff, coaches, volunteers, and students in upper primary and secondary involved in FIRST LEGO League and other robotics programs

STELA and TR representatives presented the home-grown, environmentally friendly, and sustainable
STELA-Bots robotics program to leaders of the Rwandan Ministry of ICT and Innovation.
Write, publish, and promote educational materials about child development, early childhood, and primary education for educators, families, policymakers, development partners, communities.

TR staff and volunteers, our Rwandan partners, educators, and students celebrated the launch of our much-applauded book Natural & Recycled Resources — Learning Materials for Pre-Primary and Primary Students: Find, Play, Understand!

This outdoor event was held at Nature Kigali restaurant.
Market TR and Bright School’s world-class education system through social media, conference presentations, advocacy, newsletters, networking, and TR board involvement to support development of 21st century skills, life-long learning, and education leadership capacity.
